【Kanaya Hotel Golf Course】Scenic Historic Course Transforms into "Giant Lawn Park" with Free Access

Kanaya Hotel Golf Course (Address: 1459 Kanaya, Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture; General Manager: Eri Wada) will host its "Parent-Child Lawn Enjoy Day" on August 21, 2026 (Fri), offering free access to its renowned Fuji Course—a layout ranked among the World's Top 100 Golf Courses and host to numerous professional tournaments—as a contribution to the local community, providing children with an outdoor space to play freely.

Now in its 5th year since launching in 2022, this event reflects Kanaya Hotel Golf Course's commitment to innovative course utilization and creating memorable summer experiences for nearby residents. Children can enjoy ball games, tag, and other outdoor activities against the stunning backdrop of the historic Fuji Course, while also experiencing the fun of golf through Snag Golf and putting activities.

The Fuji Course is a historic layout offering breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Fuji and the Pacific Ocean—long cherished by golfers worldwide.

This unique summer event allows families to enjoy the golf course's lush green carpet, offering a distinctly different experience from beaches or pools.

The event will take place at scenic holes on the Fuji Course, suitable even for very young children, making it an ideal place for families to enjoy together. A perfect spot for children's golf introduction at Kanaya Hotel Golf Course.

1. Event Date: August 21, 2026 (Fri) *Event canceled in case of rain

2. Venue: Kanaya Hotel Golf Course Fuji Course

3. Admission: Free

4. Activities: Fuji Course exploration, Snag Golf experience, putting experience, course machinery display, water gun battles, golf cart riding experience

*Play equipment such as balls and grass sleds for young children will be provided.

5. Capacity: 50 children (maximum of 2 accompanying guardians per child)

*Children must not attend unaccompanied. Attendance with a guardian is required.

6. Registration: Please call to reserve, stating your intent to participate in the "Parent-Child Lawn Enjoy Day."

7. Schedule: (1) Registration starts at 2:30 P.M. at the Kanaya Hotel Golf Course Clubhouse

*Final registration at 3:30 P.M. *Please use the hotel parking lot.

(2) After registration, board the bus at the front of the clubhouse to transfer to the Fuji Course

(3) Event starts at 3:00 P.M.

(4) Event ends at 5:30 P.M. (Buses to the clubhouse begin operating from 4:30 P.M.)

8. Additional Notes: (1) The course terrain follows the natural landscape. Please wear comfortable, active clothing.

(2) High temperatures are expected. Please bring your own sun protection and drinks.

(3) Pets and other animals are not permitted.

(4) Extended dining or picnicking on leisure sheets is not allowed. Please take all trash with you.

(5) Stroller use is not permitted on the course.
