At Shimoda Park, the venue, approximately 3 million hydrangeas of over 100 varieties bloom, allowing guests to enjoy various hydrangeas along with views of Shimoda city and Shimoda Bay. Our hotel offers a course meal incorporating seasonal local ingredients from Izu as a special dinner commemorating the "Hydrangea Festival." Guests can savor early summer flavors with dishes using seafood caught in Shimoda Port and local specialty Kinmedai (splendid alfonsino), presented with plating inspired by the colors of hydrangeas. This dinner is available not only to hotel guests but also to day visitors using the restaurant, accommodating casual use in conjunction with sightseeing. Furthermore, during the Hydrangea Festival period, to make access to Shimoda Park more comfortable, two shuttle buses will operate from the hotel in the morning to the festival venue. ### Shimoda Park: Japan's Largest Hydrangea Colony with 3 Million Blooms

Shimoda Park is located in a spot overlooking Shimoda city and Shimoda Bay. Locally, it is known by the nickname Shiroyama Park (Ushima Castle Ruins). Annually, during the Hydrangea Festival period, various events, local products, potted hydrangea sales, and food stalls line up, enlivening the festival.

* Approximately 15 minutes by car from the hotel
* 5 minutes by bus from Izukyu-Shimoda Station (for Shimoda Marine Aquarium), get off at Shimoda Park-shita
* Immediately after getting off, or 20 minutes walk from Izukyu-Shimoda Station

### Shuttle Bus to Hydrangea Festival Venue

Shuttle buses departing from the hotel at "10:00 A.M." and "11:15 A.M." will operate to the Hydrangea Festival venue.
