Shin-Yokohama Prince Hotel (Location: 3-4 Shinyokohama, Kohoku-ku, Yokohama City; General Manager: Masato Takeda) will be offering a buffet menu created by students from Soyodo Elementary School at the Buffet Dining Kehel (2F) from Wednesday, April 1, 2026, to Saturday, May 31, 2026.

As part of its community contribution efforts, our hotel collaborates with the nearby Yokohama Municipal Soyodo Elementary School on projects such as planning accommodation plans and conducting classes to learn about hotel work.

This time, as part of a food education initiative to "think about our own meals ourselves," we developed buffet menu items together with the children of Class 4-2 at Soyodo Elementary School. The children focused on the increasing rate of fractures among children, which has been pointed out in recent years, and devised fish-based dishes that efficiently provide calcium, essential for bone growth. The adopted menu is an Aquapazza, featuring fish as the main ingredient with thoughtful preparations to ensure sufficient calcium intake. The head chef at Buffet Dining Kehel, based on the children's concepts, has recreated the recipe as closely as possible while incorporating hotel-exclusive ingredients, flavors, and presentation.
