Approximately 120 varieties and 230,000 tulip bulbs can be enjoyed in the park.
Last year, tulips began to bloom around May 13 and were in full bloom around May 19.
Shirane Aoi and Spring Wildflower Festival
During the period, clusters of Shirane Aoi (Glaucidium palmatum) will be in full bloom in the Takino Forest Zone / Nature Museum.
At the "Shirane Aoi no Kozuchi" (Shirane Aoi Path), about a 10-minute walk from the Forest Information Center, over 500 flowers can be seen annually, with about 1,500 flowers in the entire area.
Enjoy a forest walk with small wildflowers at your feet.
