The government has set a policy to raise the energy-saving performance of new homes to ZEH standards by 2030 as part of its efforts to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. Amidst these growing societal demands, the value sought in homes extends beyond location and floor plans to include housing performance such as comfort and energy efficiency (Note 2).

What is ZEH (Net Zero Energy House) Standard?
The ZEH standard, an abbreviation for "Net Zero Energy House," is a concept for homes that aims to reduce annual primary energy consumption through high insulation and the introduction of high-efficiency equipment. ZEH standard homes meet certain criteria regarding external skin insulation performance and primary energy consumption, leading to a comfortable and energy-efficient living environment that is cool in summer and warm in winter.
In housing, "external skin performance" such as roofs, ceilings, walls, floors, windows, and doors is a crucial factor. Homes with high external skin performance are less affected by outside air and can easily maintain indoor temperatures, leading to reduced heating and cooling loads. We believe that such performance will become increasingly important not only for improving daily comfort but also from the perspective of household finances and environmental consideration.
