Fukuda entered the final day leading the tournament after carding a course record-tying score of 63 on the second day. The final round turned into a fierce battle with amateur players chasing her, resulting in a tie at 15-under par overall. Fukuda displayed high resilience and brought the match to a playoff.

On the intense first playoff hole, Fukuda set up a birdie opportunity by landing her tee shot within one meter of the pin. She grabbed this opportunity and successfully birdied to win the tournament.
