Yamanashi Prefecture (Governor: Kotaro Nagasaki) is implementing the 'TRY!YAMANASHI! Pilot Experiment Support Program,' providing startups and other enterprises with cutting-edge technologies or services up to 6 million JPY in subsidies (75% subsidy rate). The entire prefecture serves as a pilot field, with comprehensive support from a cross-sector 'All Yamanashi' collaboration involving industry, academia, government, and finance.

We are now accepting applications for pilot experiment projects from startups and other enterprises nationwide for the 11th phase of this program.

1. Purpose of the Program

The Linear Chuo Shinkansen is expected to open between Shinagawa and Nagoya in the near future, with a station in Yamanashi Prefecture serving as an intermediate stop. This will connect the prefecture to Tokyo/Shinagawa in 25 minutes and to Nagoya in 45 minutes, drastically reducing travel time and significantly improving accessibility.

Based on the 'Linear Yamanashi Vision' established in March 2020 (Reiwa 2), we aim to realize 'Yamanashi as an open platform that creates the future with cutting-edge technology, using testbeds as a breakthrough.'

※1 A 'testbed' refers to a 'place' where advanced technologies are piloted under conditions close to real-world operations.
