Private Companies and Financial Institutions: Share Your Strategic Insights on Public Facilities

Amid increasing fiscal pressures on local governments, Shizuoka Prefecture and its municipalities are actively promoting public-private partnership models (PPP/PFI) to leverage private-sector funding and expertise.

However, due to limited knowledge and experience on both public and private sides, only a few municipalities have successfully implemented such projects.

To address this, Shizuoka Prefecture will host the 'First Shizuoka PPP Practical Seminar 2026,' bringing together government, businesses, and financial institutions for open dialogue.

This sounding session combines video presentations with in-person dialogues to foster innovative, mutually beneficial projects. We welcome participation from private companies and financial institutions.

Overview of the First Shizuoka PPP Practical Seminar 2026

Public-Private Dialogues

Face-to-face dialogues will be held on July 29 at the 4th Conference Room, 7th Floor, Shizuoka Prefectural Government Annex.

One-on-one sessions (25 minutes each) will be conducted between participants and project presenters, with multiple rounds scheduled.
