In March 2026, Shizuoka Prefecture launched 'LEGA-SHIZU x 3D' on its cultural heritage portal, providing high-precision 3D digital content of nationally and locally designated Buddha statues for primary and secondary schools. Developed in collaboration with art teachers and museum curators, the platform allows students to explore various styles and historical periods of Buddhist art. The project includes comprehensive teaching manuals and supports both online access and offline Windows downloads, aiming to deepen students' interest in local historical resources through advanced technology.
