Iwami Region Companies and Students Connect at "The Real Lives of Working Adults You Don't Know" Event!

Project Overview

This event is held with the aim of deepening students' understanding of companies and organizations in the Iwami region from their early years, and to connect this to job hunting with an eye on working in the Iwami region.

This event was first held in fiscal year 2023, prompted by a request from students during the "Roundtable Talk with the Governor" held in January 2023, who said, "We want opportunities to meet many companies in Hamada too." This marks the fourth time the event has been held.

Main Event Content

☆15-Minute Networking Time!

Visit the adult booths for four 15-minute frank talk sessions. A total of 24 companies, each with unique characteristics across various industries and job types, will gather. You can learn all about "The Real Lives of Working Adults You Don't Know."

☆Don't worry if you don't know which booth to visit!

By scanning a QR code with your smartphone, a matching function will display recommended booths, allowing you to choose which ones to visit. So, even if you're attending a networking event for the first time and are unsure where to go, you can participate with peace of mind.

1. Casual attire welcome

No need to wear a suit! You can participate in your everyday clothes.

2. Smartphone is all you need

Participation is possible with just a smartphone! (Bringing writing utensils for note-taking is recommended)

3. Lottery for prizes!

There will be a lottery for prizes after the event! What you can win is a surprise for the day♪

The "Shimane Job Hunting Support Subsidy" offers financial assistance for transportation and accommodation costs when participating in eligible events. "Shimane Registration" is required to apply for the subsidy.
