To promote migration and settlement to Shimane Prefecture, a face-to-face event will be held in Tokyo’s Yurakucho on July 11, Reiwa 8. Featuring 18 municipalities and support organizations, it offers consultations on jobs, housing, and lifestyle, along with experiential booths and giveaways to raise awareness of relocation to Shimane.

To promote migration and settlement to Shimane Prefecture, there is a growing need to provide opportunities for individuals to gather diverse information on topics such as 'employment,' 'daily life,' and 'housing.' In response, we are hosting two in-person events in Osaka and Tokyo to provide information and consultation services for those considering relocation.

The second event will be held in Tokyo’s Yurakucho. Not only the Settlement Foundation but also municipalities and related organizations will gather to provide useful relocation information and consultations, aiming to raise awareness and interest in moving to Shimane Prefecture.

We will offer individual consultations on all aspects of relocation, including the 'General Consultation Booth' where you can speak with Shimane Settlement Foundation staff, 'Municipality Booths' from 18 local cities and towns, and nine 'Themed Consultation Booths' for specialized advice.

Additionally, we have prepared various accessible and enjoyable booths, such as an 'Information Collection Corner' for easy access to materials, mini-experience corners to feel life in Shimane, the 'Shimaneko Gachagacha' capsule toy machine, and a photo corner featuring Shimane’s relocation promotion mascot, 'Iyashimanechan.'

[Gift Information]

・Local bread (Barapan) will be given to the first 200 attendees

・Collect stamps to enter a lottery for a chance to win round-trip air tickets (Shimane ⇔ Tokyo), Shimane-produced rice, and Shimaneko goods

・Participants who visit consultation booths will be treated to clam soup (Shijimi Jiru)
