Saitama Prefecture to Launch Support for Customer Harassment Prevention Measures for Businesses and Business Organizations Ahead of the Enforcement of the "Saitama Prefecture Customer Harassment Prevention Ordinance"

Saitama Prefecture has enacted the "Saitama Prefecture Customer Harassment Prevention Ordinance," which will come into effect on July 1, Reiwa 8 (2026).

In conjunction with this, to support the initiatives of businesses and business organizations within the prefecture, we will launch the "Customer Harassment Prevention Measures Consultant Dispatch Project," which dispatches social insurance labor consultants and other experts free of charge, and hold the "Customer Harassment Countermeasures Web Seminar," which can be learned online.

Applications are required within the recruitment period for both. We look forward to many applications.

1. Customer Harassment Prevention Measures Consultant Dispatch Project (Free)

(1) Project Overview We will support businesses and business organizations working on customer harassment prevention measures before the enforcement of the ordinance, with up to 3 visits or online sessions per entity. *The prefecture will decide which businesses and organizations to support based on industry, business scale, etc.

(2) Support Items (multiple selections possible) Creation of basic policies regarding customer harassment prevention Creation of customer harassment response manuals Establishment of consultation systems Implementation of in-house training (for employees, for managers) Other desired items related to customer harassment prevention measures

(3) Application Period Phase 1: May 7 (Thursday) to May 28 (Thursday), Reiwa 8 *Phase 2 recruitment is scheduled for around September.
