Saitama Prefecture is advancing initiatives to deepen public interest in rivers as part of the 'SAITAMA River Supporters Project' (commonly known as 'RibaSapo').
As part of these efforts, an event led by high school students will be held at Koshigaya Lake Town.
At this event, high school members of the RibaSapo program—engaged in research on conserving the endangered species *Microphysogobio musashino* (Musashi Tomyo) and ecological surveys of invasive species such as the red-necked longhorn beetle—will present their daily activities through poster exhibitions and workshop-style sessions.
The poster displays include fun mystery quizzes designed to deepen knowledge about river creatures, which visitors can enjoy in a stamp rally format.
Additionally, numerous engaging activities will be offered, including a fishing game featuring native Saitama fish species and a wall-mounted aquarium, suitable for river enthusiasts and young children alike.
We encourage everyone to attend and learn more about rivers, making them a more familiar and cherished part of your summer.
