【Saitama Prefecture】Recruitment for 'No-Code Tool Utilization Program'!

Saitama Prefecture, aiming to promote DX among SMEs in the prefecture, is implementing a follow-up support program for businesses to develop apps that improve their own operations using no-code tools.

We look forward to active applications from businesses.

Overview of the No-Code Tool Utilization Program

This is a follow-up support program targeting 50 businesses in the prefecture, aiming to enable participants to organize business issues and independently plan, build, and operate business improvement apps (self-sustaining state).

Specialist lecturers provide individual support from issue identification to app operation, fostering on-site-led improvement capabilities. Many participants from last year reported results of self-sustaining, such as "reduced manual and paper work" and "gained confidence to proactively build and continuously improve apps."

1. Target

Those who meet all of the following requirements:

- Be an SME or sole proprietor with a business office in Saitama Prefecture.
- No violation of public order and morals, and comply with laws.
- The representative or corporate officer is not a member of organized crime or antisocial forces.

* In addition, businesses that provide in-house app development or DX support (IT vendors, etc.) and participants from last year are excluded.

2. Selection Method

Maximum of 50 participating businesses.

Selection will be based on application documents, considering motivation and implementation structure.

3. Support Content

The following support for self-sustaining:

Basic Learning & Awareness Building
- Online briefing session
- Basic operation training by tool
- Workshops for management and administrators (held at 2-3 locations in the prefecture)

Individual Follow-up Support (total 5 sessions)
- Issue setting and app planning support (1 session)
- Technical implementation support (from initial creation to operational stability, total 4 sessions)

Result Sharing & Follow-up
- Case study sharing seminar (online) and interviews for those who wish

4. No-Code Tools Available

Choose from the following tools according to business challenges and environment:
- kintone (Cybozu, Inc.)
- AppSheet (Google LLC)
- Power Apps (Microsoft Corporation)

5. Cost

Free

* However, license fees for no-code tools, PC, communication environment, etc. are borne by the participant.

The "Saitama DX Promotion Support Network" is an organization launched in 2021 by 27 organizations including national, prefectural, and municipal governments, economic groups, and financial institutions to promote DX among SMEs in the prefecture. The network centrally disseminates support information from member organizations on its website, provides consultation and follow-up support by dedicated DX concierges, matches with Saitama DX Partners (registered IT companies inside and outside the prefecture), and holds DX human resource development courses.
