Approximately 160,000 Visitors in 2 Months for 'Saga Kingdom Airport' and 'Kingdom Breakwater'! 'Kingdom x Saga Prefecture' Project Extended to September 30!

As part of 'Sagaprise!', an information dissemination project that creates "new surprises" based on local goods and experiences to thrill everyone, Saga Prefecture has been running the collaboration project "Kingdom x (Dashes through) Saga Prefecture: Don't Let the Fire of Saga Go Out!" since January 20, 2026. This is in partnership with the hugely popular manga 'Kingdom' (written by Yasuhisa Hara, published by Shueisha), which is celebrating its 20th anniversary of serialization.

In this collaboration, the nickname of Saga Airport was changed to 'Saga Kingdom Airport', along with interior decorations and a 'Saga Kingdom Airport Special Exhibition'. Additionally, various initiatives were deployed, such as the 'Kingdom Reading Breakwater (Dokuha-tei)'—where all pages from volumes 1 to 77 of the comics were displayed on a breakwater along the Ariake Sea—and campaigns at Furuyu Onsen.

As a result, the number of participants across these initiatives reached an impressive 160,000 in just about two months.
