1. Event Overview

Rogaining is a sport where participants compete to score points by visiting as many checkpoints set by the organizer as possible within a time limit. This will be the 7th event since the Nara Marathon first held one in Nara City in October 2019, and the second time in Yamatokoriyama City since 2022. This event, the first of the Nara Marathon RUN Project this season, will be held in an area centered around Yamatokoriyama City, which will be the setting for this season's Taiga drama. The checkpoints are diverse, including not only temples and shrines but also historical sites like ancient tombs and stone monuments, as well as popular spots including private facilities. Prizes such as local specialty products from Yamatokoriyama City and surrounding municipalities will be awarded to the winning teams.
