Free Instructor Dispatch for Workplace Training at Companies and Organizations in Kanagawa Prefecture! [Apply by June 30]

Kana-Terrace (Kanagawa Prefectural Center for Gender Equality) supports efforts to promote workplace understanding and consciousness reform to create an environment where everyone can work easily, by dispatching instructors to workplace training sessions for companies and organizations that want to support their employees' work and life, from NPOs working to resolve the gender gap and promote men's participation in child-rearing.

Overview of the Project to Promote Men's Participation in Housework and Child-rearing (Instructor Dispatch)

1. Implementation Period
From Thursday, September 10, Reiwa 8 to Friday, March 5, Reiwa 9

2. Dispatch Location
Business offices of companies and organizations located in Kanagawa Prefecture (in-person)
*Online implementation is also available upon request.

3. Reference Examples of Training Themes
(1) Promotion of paternity leave acquisition (participation in housework/child-rearing)
(2) Unconscious bias and gender bias (stereotypes regarding gender role division)
(3) Work-life balance for employees with time constraints (work-style reform)
(4) Creating child-rearing-friendly workplaces (corporate child-rearing support)

4. Instructors
Instructors will be dispatched from one of the following organizations:
- NPO Gender Equal (https://gender-equal.com/)
- NPO Fathering Japan (https://fathering.jp/index.html)

5. Eligibility and Capacity
Eligible for dispatch: Business offices of companies and organizations in Kanagawa Prefecture (excluding national and local government bodies)
Recruiting 8 locations (lottery will be held in case of many applications)
Participants: Management, male employees, and other interested employees (from around 5 people)
