1. Project Details, etc.

(1) Project Content

We are seeking projects from local companies and organizations that meet all of the following criteria A to C:

A. Contribute to the revitalization of the artificial satellite and service industry within the prefecture, and the establishment of a space-related industrial ecosystem within the prefecture.

B. Aim to create new business models using satellite data.

C. Aim for commercialization after the support period ends.

(2) Project Requirements

Projects that meet all of the following criteria A to C will be eligible:

A. Aim to solve social issues or respond to market needs by utilizing satellite data.

B. Have a plan to identify a direction for commercialization within approximately one year and achieve certain results (e.g., demonstration experiments, trial introductions, customer interview results).

C. Have not received other commissions or subsidies for the same content from the prefecture under any other program.

(3) Main Eligibility Criteria

The project leader must be a company or organization within Kanagawa Prefecture.

2. Number of Projects to be Adopted and Maximum Support Amount

Number of projects to be adopted: Approximately up to 8 projects.

(Note) We plan to adopt at least one project that utilizes AI for satellite data analysis, and at least two projects that contribute to solving prefectural administrative issues.

Maximum support amount: 10 million yen (tax included) per project.

(Note) This is the maximum amount, and the final decision will be made after a detailed review upon project completion.

3. Overview of Support

(1) Main Support Content

In addition to supporting a portion of the costs incurred for project implementation, we will provide expert advice and hands-on support for problem-solving, securing intellectual property rights, and strategies for practical application.

(2) Support Period

From the date of memorandum signing until Sunday, February 28, 2027.

(Note) Adopted applicants will be required to sign a memorandum regarding the implementation of the project.

4. Application Period

From Friday, May 8, 2026, to Friday, June 5, 2026, at 5:00 PM (applications must arrive by this time).

(Note) Prior to submitting the project proposal, an expression of interest must be submitted by Friday, May 29, 2026, at 5:00 PM (must arrive by this time).
