First Phase of Reiwa 8 Water Source Area Revitalization and Tour Promotion Project! Decarbonized Mobility to be Deployed in Miyagase Lake Area!

Kanagawa Prefecture announced that it will deploy decarbonized mobility in the Miyagase Lake area to promote tourism and improve accessibility between tourist spots in water source regions. 1. Deployment Period Scheduled from Saturday, May 2, Reiwa 8 (2026) to Monday, December 28, Reiwa 8 (2026). * The deployment period may change due to weather conditions or other circumstances. 2. Project Details By deploying decarbonized mobility, free movement will be enabled in the Miyagase Lake area. Users can register through a smartphone app to rent and return vehicles at designated stations (pick-up/drop-off points). Please refer to the attached document "About Decarbonized Mobility in the Miyagase Lake Area" for project details. * Pre-registration via a smartphone app is required for use. * The color of the vehicles may differ from the actual deployed vehicles. 3. Other Future plans include deployment in the Tanzawa Lake area and the implementation of customer attraction projects utilizing decarbonized mobility, which will be announced separately.
