The Hokkaido Ishikari General Subprefectural Bureau irregularly distributes "Ishikari General Subprefectural Bureau News" on Hokkaido's official YouTube channel, where staff members themselves edit, film, and distribute videos to realistically convey information about the charms and initiatives of the Ishikari region (Sapporo City, Ebetsu City, Chitose City, Eniwa City, Kitahiroshima City, Ishikari City, Tobetsu Town, Shinshinotsu Village).

Recently, as part of the Ishikari General Subprefectural Bureau New Logo Design Production Project, the final selection process for entries submitted by students from Seisa Dohto University is being distributed on the Subprefectural Bureau News.

This project was implemented with the aim of fostering familiarity and affection for the local area among participating students by having them discover and re-recognize the charms of each municipality in the Ishikari region, through soliciting appealing new logo designs with the theme "Promoting Ishikari's Charms."

As a result of the final selection, Mr. Keita Ichijo's design brilliantly won first place.

The new logo mark combines symbols from the eight municipalities within the Ishikari region and expresses the shape of the Ishikari area. While respecting the individuality of each municipality, it also represents the "diversity and harmony" and "development through collaboration" of the Ishikari region by integrally connecting them.
