PowerX Begins Delivery of Battery-Storage-Type Ultra-Fast EV Charging Systems to Authorized Porsche Dealers

PowerX, Inc. (Headquarters: Tamano City, Okayama Prefecture; President & CEO: Masahiro Ito; Securities Code: 485A) has announced the start of delivery of its battery-storage-type ultra-fast EV charging system, the "Hypercharger," to authorized Porsche dealers.

The first installation site is the "Porsche Center Nagoya Certified Pre-Owned Car Center" (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture), which was relocated and opened by PCN Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture; President: Hirotaka Teranishi), an authorized dealer of Porsche Japan K.K. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Immo Buschmann). The center sells and services Porsche Approved pre-owned cars.

The "Hypercharger" installed this time supports ultra-fast charging with a maximum output of 150kW and can charge two vehicles simultaneously with its one-unit, two-port configuration. It provides a highly convenient 24/7 charging service for members of the "Premium Charging Alliance (PCA)," a charging service for owners of the three brands: Porsche, Audi, and Volkswagen. Additionally, there is a dedicated charging lounge (available 24 hours, requires advance registration) that can be used while waiting for charging to complete.

The "Hypercharger," developed and manufactured by our company, has been certified as a recommended charger by Porsche Japan. Starting with this installation, it is scheduled to be installed at other locations, including "Porsche Center Utsunomiya" (Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture, operated by Euroglanz Co., Ltd.).

PowerX will continue to contribute to the expansion of the EV charging infrastructure in Japan through its initiatives with automobile brands promoting electrification strategies.
