Moving forward, POS+ (POSTAS) aims to realize our mission of "Creating together, one step beyond hospitality" by actively disseminating information on environmental changes and actual conditions surrounding restaurants, and proposing and examining support measures.

[Survey Results]

■ March sales were 100.5% compared to the previous year.
- The year-on-year sales growth rate for March decreased by 0.8pt from the previous month. Sales remained positive at 100.5% year-on-year.

■ Weekly sales trends by area
- In March, the year-on-year sales growth rate (regional average) was 102.5%, an increase of 1.3pt from the previous month.
- The Hokkaido region had the highest sales growth rate at 106.0% year-on-year.

■ Cashless payment methods
- The national cashless payment ratio was 55.7%, maintaining the same level as the previous month.
- By business format, the cashless ratio exceeded 40% in all categories.
Furthermore, in meal, light snack, and takeout formats, the code payment ratio exceeded 10%.
- The cashless ratio exceeded 50% in 20 out of all 28 genres, making cashless usage the majority in the restaurant industry overall. However, there is a large gap in penetration depending on the genre, with a 42.8pt difference between the highest, Teppanyaki (77.2%), and the lowest, Ramen (34.4%).
- Comparing the cashless payment ratio by business format between February and March, it increased in all formats except Izakaya (pubs).
- Looking at cashless payment methods, from February to March, the credit card payment ratio increased in formats other than Izakaya.
- The most common cashless payment method was credit cards at 78.7%, followed by code payments at 15.5%.
