The tea lounge "Belle Cour" at the Kobe Portopia Hotel (Chuo-ku, Kobe; General Manager Tsuyoshi Ito) will be selling a collaboration afternoon tea set with the theater-style aquarium "átoa" for a limited time from Monday, April 27, 2026, to Sunday, June 28, 2026.

The afternoon tea set at Belle Cour, which delivers the charms of the four seasons along with seasonal tastes, marks the first-ever collaboration to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the Kobe Portopia Hotel on March 9, 2026, and the 5th anniversary of "átoa" on October 29 of the same year. Inspired by the fantastical space of átoa, the set offers a refreshing lineup that reflects the sparkle of light and water, characteristic of early summer.

átoa was created as a new kind of urban aquarium, merging an aquarium with art. The hotel's pastry chef visited átoa last fall and, after numerous trial-and-error attempts, sought to express the worldview that spreads across each floor of the átoa building, including its symbol, the largest spherical water tank in Japan, "AQUA TERRA." Eight types of sweets have been prepared, which were also taste-tested and approved by the átoa staff to complete the menu.
