We support April Dream, an initiative to share dreams on April 1st. This press release is Poppins' dream. Since our founding, Poppins has been committed to solving social issues with the mission of 'Supporting Working Women.' By providing 'diverse options' and 'the highest standard of service' in the crucial life stages of childcare and eldercare, we aim to realize a society where everyone can thrive in their own way.
The enduring sentiment of 'Supporting Working Women' since our founding
Pppins began with the problem faced by its founder, who was a 'working woman' herself, of not having a place to leave her child while at work. At that time, witnessing the situation where women had to give something up if they wanted to build a career, we pioneered the training and dispatch of nannies (educational babysitters) in Japan.
In Japan, women's active participation in the workforce remains a major social issue. It is a key topic of discussion in international conferences, and there is much evidence showing that women's labor participation drives economic growth.
Pppins offers nanny services, babysitter services, operation of childcare and after-school facilities, eldercare services, and training programs. Through our services, we aim to create a society where everyone can thrive by providing diverse options for childcare and eldercare.
Nanny Service VIP Care Service
During the 'April Dream' period, cherry blossoms will bloom with children's dreams
During the event period, cherry trees will be installed in some of the childcare and after-school facilities operated by Poppins. Dreams drawn by children, their parents, and staff will be decorated on them.
Under the philosophy of 'Edutainment' (Education + Childcare), Poppins is committed to childcare that maximizes the potential of each child, and as Japan's first SDGs-IPO company, we practice SDGs education. Through Edutainment, we nurture children's futures.

About Poppins Group's SDGs Initiatives
In 2020, we were listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange as Japan's first SDGs-IPO company. Since our founding, we have aimed for social contribution through our business itself. Poppins particularly focuses on three goals: Goal 4 'Quality Education,' Goal 5 'Gender Equality,' and Goal 8 'Decent Work and Economic Growth.' In addition to daily SDGs initiatives through practices like Edutainment in our nanny services, nurseries, and after-school facilities, we also aim to contribute academically by researching 'SDGs for Children' in collaboration with Harvard University Graduate School of Education's Project Zero.
