Satoshi Sorata of Polus Co., Ltd. Selected by Saitama Prefecture as a 2025 'Sai-no-Kuni Youth Meister' — Recognized for Advanced Spreadsheet Skills Winning Gold at the National Abilympics and Contributions to Group Accounting —

We are pleased to announce that Satoshi Sorata, an employee of Polus Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Koshigaya, Saitama Prefecture; Representative Director: Kojiro Nakauchi) of the Polus Group, has been honored by Saitama Prefecture as a 2025 'Sai-no-Kuni Youth Meister.'

This selection as a 'Sai-no-Kuni Youth Meister' is based on his receipt of the Gold Medal in the 'Spreadsheet' competition at the '45th National Abilympics (National Skills Competition for Persons with Disabilities, held October 17–19, 2025),' as well as his accurate execution of duties based on a deep understanding of his role in the Polus Group's accounting department, which serves as a model for other young skilled workers.

For the Polus Group, this is the first time an individual has been selected as a 'Sai-no-Kuni Youth Meister' in a field other than carpentry.

【About the 'Sai-no-Kuni Youth Meister' Award】

This is a system in which the Governor recognizes young skilled workers under the age of 30 who are employed or studying within Saitama Prefecture, possess excellent skills, and are recognized as role models for other young skilled workers through their work performance and daily life.

● Nomination Criteria for Candidates (Excerpt) ・Must be employed or studying within Saitama Prefecture and be under 30 years of age as of April 1 of the fiscal year of the award.

・Must hold a Grade 1 or single-grade national skills certification for a trade defined in the 'Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare' occupational categories, or have been engaged in a profession requiring such skills for at least two years after passing a Grade 2 skills certification.

・Must have participated as a member of the Saitama Prefecture delegation in the Skills Grand Prix, the National Skills Competition, or the National Abilympics for a trade defined in the 'Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare' occupational categories, and achieved a Gold, Silver, or Bronze medal.
