Background and Objectives for Ryugasaki City's Introduction of "PoliPoli Gov"

Ryugasaki City is soliciting opinions from everyone about what they feel is "something that would be helpful" or "just a little more of a trigger" to realize their desires to "try something" or "challenge themselves."

By encouraging people to easily share their opinions on familiar topics, we aim to make it easier for those who have had fewer opportunities to convey their opinions to city hall to participate, and to utilize diverse voices in city administration.

Leveraging the characteristics of online opinion solicitation, we will broadly gather opinions not only from citizens but also from people living in various regions. The opinions received will be used as a reference for future city administration.

What is the website for conveying voices to government, "PoliPoli Gov (ポリポリガブ)"?

It is a "policy platform" for residents and government to build society together. Anyone can easily convey their ideas to the government online. It updates the activities of listening to the opinions and requests of citizens and residents towards the government (i.e., public relations) into a new system adapted for the digital age, contributing to the happy lives of individuals.

<Service Mechanism>

Policy consultations from the government arrive on PoliPoli Gov.

Residents can post opinions and ideas, and "like" comments they agree with.

PoliPoli analyzes the comments and proposes policies, which the government uses as reference for policy creation.

Future Outlook: Towards a Society Where Residents and Government Co-create Policy

PoliPoli, in order to achieve its mission of "Contributing to the happy lives of people worldwide by continuously creating new political and administrative systems," will continue to advocate for the update of the policy-making process through service provision.

In Japan, over 70% of citizens feel that "their opinions are not reflected in society," which is a high level. To solve this problem, tools are needed that allow anyone to easily participate in the system-building process with the government. Through service provision, we aim for a society where residents and government can co-create policy.
