PoliPoli Inc. (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kazuma Ito) has launched a joint project, "FutureGen for Change," with the Indonesian non-profit organization Yayasan Pijar Masa Depan (Location: Jakarta, Indonesia; Representative Director: Cazadira Fediva Tamzil, hereinafter referred to as Pijar Foundation), and conducted a one-year demonstration experiment. Out of the 6 selected companies, PoliPoli utilized its operated donation fund, the Policy Fund, for two of them, establishing a model for sustainable social implementation by connecting startup solutions with government administration. Background and Objectives of the Project The challenges facing modern society are complex, making them difficult to solve with the power of government (national and local) alone. Therefore, collaboration with private organizations such as startups and NPOs is essential. PoliPoli aims to leverage its accumulated expertise in "co-creating policies with everyone" in Japan to promote "public-private partnerships" – mechanisms where government and private sectors collaborate to solve social issues – in Southeast Asian (ASEAN) countries. This project serves as a bridge between Japan and Southeast Asia, aiming to create a virtuous cycle where the results of on-site problem-solving (demonstration experiments) are reflected in policy discussions. About This Project The 6 selected companies (Jakarta, Indonesia, photographed on May 2, 2025)
