PoliPoli Inc. (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Kazuma Ito) announces that it will hold a policy proposal event, 'Policy Pitch,' on Monday, April 27, 2026.

Background of the Event: A Major Turning Point in Global Health Policy and Japan's Role
The 'Reach Out Project' operated by PoliPoli works on supporting youth in their teens to 30s engaged in policy advocacy and community management in the global health sector.
The environment surrounding global health is facing a major turning point due to geopolitical fluctuations and policy shifts in funding nations. With the reconstruction of the existing international health cooperation framework becoming an urgent issue—such as the US withdrawal from the WHO and the suspension of USAID operations—Japan's role is being questioned more than ever before. Meanwhile, domestically, public opinion on foreign aid has become stricter against the backdrop of a weak yen, high inflation, and a declining population, raising questions about how to position global health policy.

At this event, lawmakers, government officials, and youth will gather to re-evaluate global health policy from both the perspective of 'health and medical security' that protects citizens' lives and 'economic security' that leverages Japan's technological prowess, discussing the significance of Japan leading the international community.
