PoliPoli Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) announces that its representative, Kazuma Ito, has been appointed as a director of the Japan Association of New Economy (hereinafter referred to as JANE).

As a first initiative following this appointment, we will host a seminar for JANE member companies titled 'Introduction to Policy Management for Startups: What Will Change Under the Takai Administration and How Companies Should Act' on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

## Background of Appointment as JANE Director and PoliPoli's Role
JANE is an economic association dedicated to creating an environment where the power of individuals and private companies can be maximized for economic and social reforms centered on digital technology. A diverse range of companies are members, transcending boundaries of scale and industry, from startups to large corporations, and from IT companies to the construction and manufacturing industries.

To date, PoliPoli has promoted initiatives as a 'policy platform' connecting diverse stakeholders with policymaking arenas beyond the startup framework, including joining the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren) and the Japan Association of Corporate Executives (Keizai Doyukai), and collaborating with the Japan Association of New Public (JANP).

By assuming the role of director at JANE, we will push forward with new policy formations by better reflecting the challenges faced by startups and new industries in policy proposals.

### Comment from Kazuma Ito (Representative of PoliPoli)
I am highly honored to take on the heavy responsibility of being a director at the Japan Association of New Economy. As population decline and the complexity of social issues progress, it is necessary for diverse stakeholders, including startup companies with innovative technologies and businesses, to be involved in policy.
PoliPoli operates a policy platform and is involved in various forms of policy co-creation. I will do my utmost, however modest my contribution may be, to create new forms of public-private and policy co-creation together with JANE member companies.

## [Held on May 26 (Tue)] Seminar Overview
'Policy Management' is a new management model in which companies identify business opportunities and risks originating from policy, and formulate and execute new business strategies to aim for sustainable growth and the enhancement of corporate value.
With the inauguration of the Takai administration, Japan's economic and startup policies are reaching a major turning point. In this seminar, we will talk about how companies should understand the policy trends of the new administration and proceed with 'Policy Management' to utilize them in business.
