Polimill Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Directors: Ayame Ito and Nonoka Taniguchi), a company driving the social implementation of generative AI, held a training session and briefing as the kickoff initiative for its partnership agreement with Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture. Digital transformation officials from Hyogo Prefecture and neighboring municipalities, including Itami, Nishinomiya, Kawanishi, Takarazuka, and Suita, were invited to participate. The program consisted of two parts. Part one was a Qommo sAI utilization training session. For participants with advanced skills, Polimill explained applied usage methods designed to further accelerate practical work, including the DeepResearch function introduced in April. Part two was a hands-on session for new features and a briefing on future outlooks. Participants were given early access to mockups of the misinformation detection AI and subsidy search AI currently under development. They also exchanged views on Polimill’s future vision and how municipal operations may change going forward. Digital transformation officials who regularly use Qommo sAI gathered in one place, leading to active, practice-oriented exchanges during the Q&A and post-training discussions. Comments included, “Your city has the same issues too?” and “This part is easy to use,” showing the emergence of a co-creation network that crosses regional boundaries. Sugihara, Amagasaki City’s Digital Policy Supervisor and Assistant CIO, commented: “I was very excited by the various visions for the future. Amagasaki City wants to work together on this as well.” Polimill said that receiving such expectations from people advancing DX on the front lines of public administration was a major source of encouragement. Participant feedback included: “It was extremely meaningful to learn advanced use cases, including the latest DeepResearch function,” “By not only experiencing new features early but also hearing Polimill’s future outlook, I could sense part of the social transformation AI may bring,” and “I was able to exchange opinions with officials from nearby municipalities who share the same concerns, helping build closer relationships.” Project leads Taniguchi and Morita said they were honored to meet with Hyogo Prefecture and many neighboring municipalities through the partnership agreement. After the program, seeing participants exchange candid opinions across regions gave them a sense that new municipal collaboration was beginning. They stated, “Today is not the end; it is the beginning.” Under the partnership agreement, Polimill reaffirmed its commitment to working with Amagasaki City and many other municipalities to create a better society.
