There are approximately 3.3 million small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Japan. Many of them, despite possessing excellent technology and diligent work, suffer from two disparities.
One is the talent gap. Large corporations can establish DX promotion departments and hire dedicated digital talent. However, SME owners are burdened with the heavy task of managing sales, recruitment, and business decisions all by themselves, while also feeling the pressure to "study AI."
The other is the information gap. While information on AI utilization is abundant, most of it is geared towards large corporations or engineers. There is no one around SMEs who can tell them about "AI that can be used immediately for their company's size and industry."
If left unaddressed, this gap will continue to widen. An irreversible difference will emerge between companies that can master AI and those that cannot—I have witnessed this reality firsthand during 14 years of web consulting.
What I realized on the night I lost everything
I founded my company in 2012 and built my business primarily around web production. However, at one point, my long-standing client relationships ended one after another, and I suddenly lost most of my sales.
Though I was at a loss, I couldn't stop. I had a family. I had responsibilities. And above all, one thing remained unshaken: "I know the reality of SMEs."
It was during this period that I encountered AI. As I started using it as a tool, a conviction grew: "This can be the first 'digital weapon' within reach for SME owners."
The conviction that I could deliver to SMEs what large corporations pay millions of yen to consulting firms for, using AI combined with my on-site experience—that is the origin of my current business.
I believe I would not have reached this dream without that setback.

We also collaborate with chambers of commerce and other organizations to create touchpoints with local business owners who typically do not receive AI information.
