Currently, Kagayaki School conducts classes focusing on two main themes that often present challenges for junior high and high school students during adolescence: ・'Women's Health': Classes to deepen understanding of female-specific diseases and bodily changes ・'Dermatology Class': Classes to correctly understand common adolescent skin concerns and guide appropriate care and medical consultation

In fiscal year 2025, the 'Women's Health' classes were increasingly offered in schools with a high proportion of male students, such as technical high schools. For the 'Dermatology Class,' classes were held for the first time in special needs schools and evening high schools. We are pleased to report on each of these initiatives, as we were able to provide classes to a wider and more diverse range of participants than ever before. This project is organized by Plus-M Inc. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Shunsuke Nagaoka), with the support of the National Association of High School Principals, the National Association of Commercial High School Principals, the Home Economics Department of the National Association of High School Principals, the National Association of School Nurses, the All Japan Junior High School Principals Association, the National Federation of Municipal Boards of Education, and the Japan Society of Clinical Dermatology, and the sponsorship of Bayer Yakuhin, Ltd., Maruho Co., Ltd., and Omron Healthcare Co., Ltd.

-- Women's Health Classes -- ■Number of Male Students Exceeds Female Students In FY25, classes were held in 13 schools nationwide. In addition to co-educational schools, there was an increase in applications from schools with a high ratio of male students, such as technical high schools and industrial high schools. As a result, out of 3,953 participants, 2,414 (approximately 60%) were male students, marking a significant expansion of classes that were traditionally focused on female students. The background to this trend includes requests from schools stating, 'We want male students to understand the female body's mechanisms' and 'We want them to learn this as essential knowledge regardless of gender for their future.' Even in an environment with an increased number of male participants, comprehension remained high at 95.1%. Significant improvements in understanding related to infertility and pregnancy were observed before and after the classes, and a shift in awareness towards women's health was confirmed. Furthermore, the classes were held for the second consecutive year at a National Maritime College, and teacher surveys indicated nearly 100% positive evaluations regarding the significance of the classes, further clarifying their necessity in educational settings.

-- Dermatology Class -- ■Classes Held at Special Needs Schools and Evening High Schools Achieved In FY25, with the desire to deliver accurate information to students in diverse environments, Dermatology Classes were held in 10 schools nationwide, marking the first time classes were conducted at special needs schools and evening high schools. Detailed discussions were held with each school, and the classes were structured around the daily concerns of the students. Practical elements, such as a 'correct amount experience' using hand cream, were incorporated to enhance engagement and understanding. As a result, comprehension was high at 92%. Teacher surveys from the participating schools, similar to the Women's Health classes, showed nearly 100% agreement on the significance of the classes, receiving high praise in educational settings and further raising expectations for future development.
