'#Is this really true? It will protect you.' is an industry-academia-government collaboration fake news countermeasure awareness campaign led by YouTube, with the cooperation and supervision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (DPA) and Keio University X Dignity Center. It has been conducted continuously every year since 2023 with the aim of providing an opportunity to realize that false and misleading information is a problem lurking in everyday life and to think about how to face information.
Each time, creators from diverse genres disseminate ways to deal with fake news through YouTube videos. In the 3rd phase in 2025, 8 groups including Emiko Kaminuma, Anne, Akabintan, Tesesaku ch, and Tenten Hanten participated. (In no particular order, titles omitted)
