PlayNext Lab Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Takumi Kashiwa, hereinafter "PlayNext Lab") announced that it has renewed and started operating the LINE official account for Nishiwaga Town, Iwate Prefecture (hereinafter "Nishiwaga Town"), utilizing the "Smart Public Lab for GovTech Program."

LINE Official Account Renewal

PlayNext Lab's "Smart Public Lab for GovTech Program" was adopted for the renewal of Nishiwaga Town's LINE official account. This renewal also implemented chatbot functions for information categories such as "Basic Menu," "Child Rearing," and "Attraction Information."

Three Enhanced "Rich Menus"

The three rich menus, "Basic Menu," "Child Rearing," and "Attraction Information," fixed at the bottom of the screen, allow users to launch chatbots and navigate to websites containing various information. Previously, this information could only be obtained by searching the homepage and accessing the relevant page, but now residents can easily find information sources from the LINE chat screen.

"Segmented Delivery Function" to Customize Desired Delivery Categories

The "segment delivery" function, which delivers only the notifications desired by residents, has been introduced. Residents can customize the desired delivery categories by answering "reception settings." By focusing deliveries on the information residents want, it is expected that information dissemination from the town will become even more effective.
