Chikushino City has launched a bulky waste collection application and reservation service via LINE, utilizing the bulky waste payment function of the "Smart Public Lab for GovTech Program" provided by PlayNext Lab Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takumi Kashiwa; hereinafter "PlayNext Lab"). This new initiative aims to streamline local government's resident services and improve the convenience of residents' daily lives.

From purchasing bulky waste disposal tickets to booking collection, all completed on LINE

Previously, inquiries about the required number of bulky waste stickers and collection schedule reservations were handled by phone. With the introduction of the bulky waste payment function, payment of bulky waste fees and reservation of collection dates can now be completed entirely on LINE.

~Flow until bulky waste disposal~

1. Tap "Bulky Waste Collection Application" from the menu and proceed to disposal reservation.

From the "Online Application/Reservation" menu, follow the chatbot's guidance for bulky waste collection applications to proceed to the disposal reservation form corresponding to your administrative district.

2. Fill in the disposal reservation information in the form, select a date, and complete payment to finalize the reservation application.

Fill in the necessary information in the form, such as basic information, selection of bulky waste to be disposed of, image attachments, and details of the disposal location. Then, select an available date from the calendar, choose your preferred online payment method, and complete the payment to finalize the disposal reservation.

3. Attach the information, such as the reception number, received on the chat screen to the bulky waste and place it at the designated disposal location.

Once the disposal reservation is complete, a reservation completion notification will arrive on the LINE chat screen. Write down the reception number, collection date, and amount indicated, attach it to the bulky waste, and place it at the disposal location specified in the application to complete the process.
