Refactoring Strategy in the LLM Era: Gradual and Safe TS Migration Method Using AI Agents
"Migrating existing large JavaScript projects to TypeScript" - this is a challenge many developers face. However, with the advent of LLMs and autonomous AI agents, the hurdles for this challenge are lowering. In this session, we will share a real-world case study and insights into how a large-scale frontend project built with React was gradually and safely migrated to TypeScript using AI agents.
We will introduce the specific process of how not just types were applied, but how an OpenAPI-generated client SDK was integrated with AI agents to infuse "meaningful types" into components and logic.
