Our association endorses April Dream, which seeks to make April 1st a day for sharing dreams. This press release is the dream of the 'Expression Communication Development Association'.
The Expression Communication Development Association was established to popularize experiential workshops that enable people to intentionally connect their hearts through theatrical methods incorporating elements of Play (theater and games), aiming to improve the communication skills of all Japanese people.
In modern society, the number one 'real reason for resignation' is 'poor human relations.' The root cause of deteriorating human relations is a lack of mutual communication. We use a theatrical approach to 'improve communication skills'.
A Society Where Lack of Communication Hides True Feelings
In recent years, with the increasing complexity and diversification of society, the importance of communication skills to smoothly and effectively convey individual opinions and emotions has grown. However, the current situation is that school education and conventional training tend to focus on uniform knowledge transfer and fail to sufficiently cultivate the expressive power that springs from within individuals.
In particular, the spread of remote work and the increase in online communication make it difficult to convey non-verbal information, becoming a factor that creates misunderstandings and communication breakdowns.

'Poor human relations' certainly refers to relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and subordinates, but the fact that 'the real reason is not told to the company' also indicates that the relationship between the company and its employees is not optimal.
We believe these issues are caused by a decline in the 'communication skills' that humans should inherently possess.
Against this background, we have developed a unique program incorporating theatrical methods that allows participants to proactively face themselves and unlock their intrinsic expressive power.
This enables individuals to express themselves with confidence while simultaneously cultivating the ability to understand others with imagination.

Based on this experience, we are convinced that theatrical workshops are an effective solution to the communication challenges in modern society, especially issues like generation gaps and harassment, as well as the dilution of real human relationships due to the spread of text-based communication.
