Plat Yonezawa Co., Ltd. (Location: Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, Representative Director: Hirotoshi Miyajima), a tourism town development corporation that "transforms local charm into strength," and the 360° Yonezawa Open Factory Executive Committee (Location: within Yonezawa Textile Council, Yonezawa City, Executive Chairman: Tetsuo Kondo) have decided to expand the 4th annual "360° Yonezawa Open Factory" to a total of four days, from Thursday, September 10 to Sunday, September 13, 2026.

What is "360° (Sanrokumaru) Yonezawa Open Factory"?

It is an open factory event launched in September 2023 with the concept of "Opening Yonezawa."

It is held as a community-wide open factory event that showcases the factories and workshops of diverse craftsmanship that Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, boasts to the world, such as "Yonezawa-ori textiles," "fermentation/brewing," "woodworking," and "printing," allowing visitors to learn about their charm through tours and experiences.

This year's theme is "Explore the Excitement."

This event has been held under the slogan "Opening Yonezawa." Visitor surveys have shown many voices indicating new discoveries and learning, such as "I learned about such companies for the first time," "It was refreshing to enter places I usually can't see," and "I was able to rediscover Yonezawa's industries."
