THE CONDER HOUSE, which provides 'modern Chinese' cuisine based on authentic Chinese food and is an awardee of Tabelog 100 Famous Stores 2026 & Hot Restaurant 2026, will open a limited-time shaved ice shop, 'THE VAULT ICE,' starting Wednesday, July 1, 2026. The shop will be located at 'BANKER'S BAR,' a renovated vault of the former Nagoya Bank head office built in 1926.
In addition to premium shaved ice using seasonal fruits and THE CONDER HOUSE's original tea, the menu features a '10,000 yen shaved ice' using rare natural ice from one of the few remaining natural ice makers in Japan.
We offer a 'summer luxury for adults' to be enjoyed within the vault of a historical building.

About the Limited-Time 'THE VAULT ICE'
The venue for THE VAULT ICE, 'BANKER'S BAR' inside THE CONDER HOUSE, is located within the former Nagoya Bank head office building constructed in 1926. It is a bar renovated from an actual vault.
It is a space reminiscent of a 'Speak Easy,' where people secretly enjoyed alcohol during the Prohibition era in the United States, and is normally operated as a night-time bar.
For THE VAULT ICE, we focused on the inherent rarity of 'ice' itself, setting the stage in this vault.
Before the development of refrigeration technology, ice was a precious item available only in limited seasons and locations, a special luxury enjoyed by only a few.
Over time, ice has become something anyone can easily obtain. However, at the few natural ice makers left in Japan, ice is still made over a long period, relying solely on natural cold weather.
THE VAULT ICE proposes a 'cup worth visiting for' by combining this rare natural ice, carefully selected seasonal fruits from across the country, and the unique space of the former Nagoya Bank vault. Tasting it in a vault where wealth and assets were once stored represents a new luxury for the modern era. Appearing only this summer, THE VAULT ICE is a limited-time shaved ice shop designed to reconsider the value of ice.

A luxurious shaved ice to savor carefully selected seasonal fruits and rare natural ice. There are only 7 makers in Japan capable of producing natural ice. We use ice from Shogetsu Himuro in Nikko, one of these rare natural ice producers. Natural ice, created only by slowly freezing it over 15 days in severe cold, features a fluffy, melt-in-the-mouth texture with few impurities. You can enjoy a delicate texture that lasts, and a light taste up to the very last bite.
Furthermore, we lavishly use seasonal Crown Melon, Shine Muscat, and Fuji Natsuhime peaches, carefully cultivated by producers in their respective regions, maximizing the rich aroma and freshness inherent in seasonal fruits.
Served in an 'Oju' (traditional tiered box), the vibrant colors of the fruits spread out the moment you open the lid, creating an uplifting feeling reminiscent of a treasure chest. The elegant appearance of the Oju beautifully enhances the colors of the natural ice and seasonal fruits, creating a dish to be enjoyed with all five senses.
VAULT No.01 - Conder Reserve ¥3,300 (tax and service included)
A shaved ice using 'CONDER TEA,' popular as THE CONDER HOUSE's original tea. Based on Rooibos tea, it features a refreshing flavor combining the gorgeous aroma of lychee with rose petals and peppermint.
It is layered with fluffy, rich almond tofu espuma and colorfully decorated with lychee, peach, and grapefruit. The toppings feature lychee (also used in CONDER TEA), gently sweet peaches, and refreshing tart grapefruits, pursuing a balance of aroma, sweetness, and acidity so you can enjoy rich flavor changes within a single cup.
Hidden inside the melt-in-the-mouth ice are berry confiture and vanilla ice cream, spreading the tartness of the fruit and a gentle sweetness as you eat. It is a dish where you can enjoy an elegant lingering finish woven from the gorgeous aroma of CONDER TEA, the richness of almond tofu, the refreshing berries, and the juiciness of the fruit.
VAULT No.02 - Mango Coconut Lime ¥3,300 (tax and service included)
A summer-limited shaved ice lavishly using half a Miyazaki mango.
Layering the mellow sweetness of coconut and the refreshing tartness of lime over rich fruit flavors, it is finished as a dish that evokes a tropical essence. We use homemade mango syrup abundantly, drawing out the mellow aroma native to mangoes and the condensed natural sweetness of the fruit.
Accented with coconut crunch, you can enjoy different textures and tastes as you eat it along with the delicate, melting natural ice. This gorgeous dish harmonizes the rich sweetness of mango, the richness of coconut, and the refreshing feel of lime, making it perfect for summer.
