Plan・Do・See to Open First Mountain Resort, "THE ALPS HOTEL HAKUBA," in Hakuba Project Phase 1 in December 2026, Now Accepting Reservations

Plan・Do・See Inc. (Headquarters: Azabudai, Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Shohei Asaba), which operates hotels, restaurants, weddings, and other businesses in major cities across Japan and 46 locations worldwide, will begin operating the "Hakuba Alps Hotel," directly connected to Hakuba Norikura Ski Resort, from April 1, 2026. Simultaneously, renovation work will commence, and the hotel will reopen in December 2026 as "THE ALPS HOTEL HAKUBA." Reservations for this hotel will begin today, April 1, 2026.

The Hakuba Alps Hotel, which will be reborn as THE ALPS HOTEL HAKUBA, originally opened in 1971 in the Norikura area of Hakuba, pioneering the ski boom. The Hakuba Norikura area is known as a ski resort blessed with high-quality powder snow in winter, closer to nature within Hakuba. The luxurious ski-in/ski-out environment, where the slopes spread out right in front of the hotel, has been loved by many skiers since its inception.

This time, we will renovate the guest rooms and public areas, aiming to create a mountain resort hotel that will attract people from Japan and all over the world throughout all seasons.

Public areas, including the lobby, will feature a warm atmosphere where guests can relax after fully enjoying nature. To ensure guests can fully enjoy their time within the hotel, in addition to the popular outdoor pool, sauna, and bathing facilities from before the renovation, we plan to add an activity space with a jukebox and billiard tables, as well as a childcare facility. The hotel also offers direct ski rental and a ski school, allowing guests to enjoy snow sports with ski-in/ski-out access in winter.

The hotel's main dining will be an all-day dining restaurant that can be enjoyed not only by hotel guests but also by outside visitors. For lunch, we plan to offer mountain resort-style curries and Western dishes, and for dinner, a grill restaurant centered on charcoal-grilled steaks. In addition to the dining area, a spacious sports bar will also be opened where friends can enjoy drinks together.

Guest rooms will be available in a total of 9 types, ranging from family suites that can accommodate up to 8 people to standard double rooms suitable for solo travelers or couples who wish to enjoy nature at a leisurely pace. Among them, dog-friendly rooms will also be available for guests who want to enjoy the great outdoors with their beloved pets.
