About Corporate Hometown Tax (Regional Revitalization Tax Incentive System) Corporate Hometown Tax is a system where companies can receive tax credits when they donate to regional revitalization projects of local governments certified by the national government. In addition to the reduction effect from deductible expenses (approx. 30% of the donation amount), companies can receive tax credits for corporate inhabitant tax, corporate tax, and corporate enterprise tax (up to approx. 60%), with up to 90% of the donation amount potentially reduced.
