Mount Ikoma Filled with Shaved Ice: "Ikoma Ice Photo Contest 2026" to be Held

The Ikoma Mountain Brand Promotion Council will hold the Instagram posting event "Ikoma Ice Photo Contest 2026" as part of the "Ikoma Ice" project, which is being developed in the Mount Ikoma area.

By having participants convey the charm and enjoyment of Mount Ikoma from their own perspectives, the aim is to discover new attractions in the Mount Ikoma area, promote visits, and encourage local exploration.

Background of the Initiative

In recent years, in the tourism sector, experiences and word-of-mouth shared on social media have had a significant impact on destination choices and travel behavior. This photo contest is being held as an initiative that will lead to increased awareness of the entire area and continuous information dissemination by participants themselves conveying the charm of Mount Ikoma through this project.

Furthermore, "Ikoma Ice" has been continuously featured in newspapers, on the web, and in public relations media this season, and interest is growing. In response to this feedback, this time it is being developed as a participatory project not only for "eating and enjoying" but also for "sharing."
