About Pietro's "Noko Veggie Farm"

Pietro's "Noko Veggie Farm" is located on Nokonoshima Island in Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City, where we cultivate tomatoes, garlic, and other seasonal vegetables and fruits in an environment surrounded by rich nature. We minimize the use of pesticides and grow vegetables and fruits without herbicides, which are then used in our restaurant menus and products. We make full use of the ingredients we carefully cultivate, including not only those with good shape but also those that do not meet standards, as raw materials for sauces and soups.

"Noko Veggie Farm" - Fostering Connections Between People

"Noko Veggie Farm" serves not only as a place to grow produce but also as a place that connects people. It is used as a training ground for employees' farming practices, and we also host events for customers. Through food education activities such as vegetable harvesting and cooking experiences, we convey the importance of food and the joy of eating, while also serving as a place to deepen relationships among employees and with customers.

About Pietro

[It all started with a single restaurant. A dressing born from sharing.]

Pietro began in 1980 as a small pasta specialty shop called "Yomenya Pietro" in Tenjin, a bustling area of Fukuoka City. While customers waited for their noodles to cook, the dressing for the salad served as an appetizer became popular. Responding to requests to "share it," we commercialized it as our signature product, "Pietro Dressing Japanese Soy Sauce."

[In our factory, our "large kitchen," we make "a lot of small portions" by hand.]

Pietro calls its factory a "large kitchen." To preserve the deliciousness that has continued since our founding, which cannot be replicated by mass production in giant tanks, we retain many handmade processes, as if cooking in a restaurant kitchen, with each employee carefully and wholeheartedly crafting our products.
