[Report] Completion Report Meeting Held at Kumamoto Prefectural Office for 'Pietro Dressing Umashio' Made with Kumamoto Salt

Pietro Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, President: Yasuyuki Takahashi) will launch 'Pietro Dressing Umashio', using the branded 'Amakusa Salt' from Kumamoto Prefecture, nationwide starting Sunday, March 1. Ahead of this release, on Friday, February 27, we visited the Kumamoto Prefectural Office, and together with President Takashi Nakano of Kyuden Sangyo Co., Ltd., the manufacturer of 'Amakusa Salt', we reported the completion of the product to Governor Takashi Kimura. On the day, we introduced the product and conveyed our desire to deliver good ingredients from Kyushu to all of Japan together, holding a tasting and exchanging opinions. Governor Kimura commented: 'It is a salt dressing, but it is mellow and not too salty. It is an infinite kind of taste that you can keep eating forever. The salt content is not high, so it is not a sin to use it luxuriously without worrying. It is a versatile dressing that clearly goes well with meat and can also be used as a salt sauce. It can appeal the representative Amakusa salt of Kumamoto to the whole country, leading to the promotion of Kumamoto, the capital of food. We will also support it so that it spreads nationwide.'
