Austin, March 27, 2026 – Aprilia Racing has unveiled the "Aprilia X 250TH," a special edition motorcycle packed with cutting-edge technology developed in MotoGP, at the Circuit of the Americas during the Americas GP. This new Aprilia X 250TH was planned to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence, signed on July 4, 1776. It has been decided that out of the 30 units produced, 25 will be allocated to the US market and the remaining 5 will be sold globally, featuring an epic "Stars and Stripes" livery inspired by the colors of the American flag.

As the world's first and only production motorcycle equipped with carbon brakes—equipment exclusive to MotoGP—the X 250TH demonstrates stopping power equivalent to the Aprilia RS-GP ridden by Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martín, symbolizing its direct connection to the premier motorcycle racing championship.

Clad in an epic "Stars and Stripes" livery inspired by the American flag, the Aprilia X 250TH boasts 240 horsepower, making it the most powerful model ever built among the RSV4 series. Its lightweight 165kg body achieves a power-to-weight ratio that delivers an unprecedented riding experience. As the sixth generation of the X brand, the new Aprilia X 250TH features the latest generation of seat wings, which are only adopted on the RS-GP prototypes competing in the MotoGP World Championship, boasting outstanding aerodynamics.

It is the sixth generation of an unparalleled project worldwide that started with the RSV4 X in 2019, followed by the Tuono X in 2020, RSV4 X Trenta in 2022, RSV4 X ex3ma in 2024, and RSV4 X-GP in 2025. These special models carrying the "X" designation represent the highest excellence among motorcycles sold to the public.

Braking System

One of the standout features of the Aprilia X 250TH is the Brembo carbon braking system, unparalleled for a factory bike. This system utilizes 340mm diameter carbon brake discs, which are also used in MotoGP, combined with carbon pads and billet aluminum calipers with cooling fins. The rear brake disc uses a nickel-plated caliper.

By adopting carbon discs, the weight is halved compared to conventional steel discs, contributing to improved handling performance. The carbon pads achieve a weight reduction of about one-third compared to sintered pads while demonstrating stable performance even under severe conditions of use, providing a riding experience and stopping power close to that of a MotoGP prototype machine.
