ScanSnap User Meetup 2026 to Be Held

PFU Limited, the company behind the ScanSnap image scanner, will host the 'ScanSnap User Meetup 2026' on July 14 at Belle Salle Kudan in Tokyo.

Three years since the emergence of ChatGPT, AI has evolved from a 'try it out' phase to one of 'integrating into work.' Previously, scanned data was merely 'stored and reviewed,' but now, the moment data is handed to AI, it can immediately trigger the next action.

Information scanned from paper using ScanSnap is no longer just something to 'be saved as PDFs or images.' It has transformed into high-quality input that actively drives AI.

At this meetup, we will introduce a new era of information utilization where 'paper becomes the gateway to AI,' through talk sessions and hands-on experience corners. Please join us on-site to experience real-world use cases and future possibilities shared by those who are already implementing ScanSnap × AI.

Additionally, 2026 marks the 25th anniversary of ScanSnap's launch, a milestone year. We aim to reflect on our journey and past product development stories, while discussing the future of ScanSnap together with our users. Attendees will also receive limited-edition merchandise and can participate in a lucky draw.

## Event Program

Hosted by tech media 'Gadgetouch,' the event will feature a 'ScanSnap × AI' talk session with ScanSnap Premium Ambassador Naoki Yoshida and IT journalist Taro Matsumura.
We will also have a lucky draw for ScanSnap merchandise, hands-on experience corners, and a gachapon corner.
Enjoy light refreshments and drinks while networking and experiencing the latest in ScanSnap technology.
