(Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & CEO: Tatsu Isobe) announces that its "Kachaka Pro" has achieved the No. 1 share in the domestic AMR (※2) market in terms of unit sales, according to the latest market research report "2026 Domestic Autonomous Mobile Robot Market Analysis" (※1) published by Fuji Keizai.

■ Challenges in the AMR Market

Against the backdrop of labor shortages and rising labor costs, the demand for AMRs that automate transport operations is increasing. However, conventional AMRs have faced the following challenges, which have become barriers to adoption: not only do they require a long preparation period for implementation, but also a return on investment (ROI) is difficult to achieve.

1. High initial cost: The cost of the robot itself is high.

2. Additional costs for system setup: System construction and setup by external system integrators may be required, leading to additional costs.

3. Long implementation preparation period: Due to the aforementioned setup, it takes time to introduce and adjust the system on-site.

■ Key Strengths of "Kachaka Pro," which Achieved No. 1 Domestic Unit Share

Kachaka Pro has been developed and continuously improved to solve these market challenges, and as a result of being highly evaluated in many workplaces, it has achieved the top share.

1. No specialized knowledge required. Intuitive setup completed with a smartphone app.

By utilizing a dedicated smartphone app, on-site personnel can create maps and set/change routes themselves. This eliminates the need for external system development outsourcing or specialized programming knowledge, realizing "ease of introduction" and "flexible operation" that allows for immediate operation from the day of delivery.

2. Realization of high ROI through advanced integration of software and hardware.

Our company develops everything in-house, from core algorithms such as SLAM and navigation to hardware areas such as board and mechanical design. This enables optimal design that allows high-performance software to operate with general-purpose parts, achieving both low cost (under 1 million yen for the main unit) and high quality.

3. Expansion of functions that meet on-site needs through continuous updates.

While listening to customer feedback, we continuously add practical functions required on-site through software updates, such as "cooperation with PLC" and "execution of multiple tasks in combination."

Kachaka Pro is utilized in many workplaces, mainly in the manufacturing industry, leveraging the strengths mentioned above. To meet the needs of customers who realize its effectiveness and scale up to "multi-unit operation," we also provide "Kachaka Fleet Manager," a system that enables integrated control of multiple units, which is already operating in many manufacturing sites.
