## ALPHA for Biz Adds Custom Test Configuration Feature

Pestalozzi Technology (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tomotsuna Inoue) has announced the addition of a 'Custom Test Configuration' feature to its corporate fitness check and data utilization service, 'ALPHA for Biz.' This feature allows companies to freely set and register their own fitness test items within the application. In addition to the five standard physical fitness tests previously provided, companies can now centrally manage and analyze unique test items related to their specific business operations, characteristics, and corporate culture.

### Background of the Update

The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare’s 'Guidelines for Preventing Workplace Accidents Among Older Workers' (effective April 1, 2026) recommends continuous fitness testing to prevent workplace accidents. It further notes that since physical decline is not limited to older workers, fitness testing should also be conducted for young and middle-aged employees.

In response to these trends, ALPHA for Biz has previously supported workplace safety and health management by visualizing employee fitness based on the 'five basic tests': grip strength, sit-ups, standing long jump, sit-and-reach, and side-step test.
