Persol Innovation Co., Ltd. Comic Learning Company (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Atsuko Senba), operating under the Persol Group's vision of 'Working and Smiling,' is pleased to announce that it has provided training materials to all employees of Nippon Light Metal Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Ichiro Okamoto) and its group companies, through its training service 'Comic Learning' (https://lp.comiclearning.jp/top) which utilizes comic materials. The training materials focus on the theme of 'Preventing Recurrence of Improper Quality Practices.' By clearly illustrating past actual cases of misconduct in comic format, the aim is to help each employee understand the background and impact of such misconduct, and to provide an opportunity for them to reflect on their own actions.

Reasons for Choosing 'Comic Learning' The group previously introduced original comic training materials on the theme of compliance training in 2023, which received high praise from participants for being 'easy to understand' and 'memorable.' Regarding the current theme of 'Preventing Recurrence of Improper Quality Practices,' there was a challenge where past misconduct cases tended to fade over time, leading employees to perceive them as 'someone else's problem.' Therefore, there was a need to provide learning that each employee could engage with as their own issue. Against this backdrop, leveraging the positive response from the previous training, they once again commissioned 'Comic Learning' to create original training materials. Furthermore, by using comics, a visually easy-to-understand and relatable format, the service is expected to foster dialogue within the workplace, promoting learning retention and awareness penetration, which is also demonstrated in this initiative. ■Comment from Mr. Jun Ogasawara, Quality Assurance Department, Nippon Light Metal Holdings Co., Ltd. The comic materials we commissioned previously were very well-received by our employees, with many commenting that 'the content is easy to understand.' Based on such feedback, we decided to implement 'Comic Learning' again this time. Our company faced the challenge that past misconduct cases were fading and difficult to convey with a sense of immediacy to our employees. We felt that 'Comic Learning' could facilitate training that deepens employee understanding by realistically depicting past cases, not just as mere knowledge. In fact, through thorough hearings, we were able to create an original story that reflects our company's actual situation. This resulted in materials that accurately convey facts while retaining the clarity and relatability unique to comics. Through this training, we feel that the awareness of each employee to engage with these issues as their own has increased, which not only helps prevent the fading of past cases but also contributes to fostering a corporate culture that values honesty. ■Implementation Details Implementation Plan: Original Comic Plan Implementation Theme: Prevention of Recurrence of Improper Quality Practices Target Audience: All employees, approximately 11,000 (including group companies) ■Training Material Content (Excerpts) <figure class="
