Acrylic paintings with animal motifs, some of which have been NFT-ized, and ikebana art.

This is a solo exhibition by Tomonobu Iguchi, who is based in Tateyama City and engages in a wide range of creative activities including painting, murals, and ikebana.

You can experience a world of comfortable harmony where two different approaches intersect: vibrant and energetic artworks, and flowers arranged with free ideas unconstrained by tradition, as a painter and as an ikebana artist.

Ikebana Workshop

■ Concurrent Workshop "Ikebana using Driftwood"

We will hold a workshop to create your own ikebana by combining driftwood nurtured by the sea of Tateyama and Minamiboso with fresh flowers. Starting from choosing your favorite driftwood and vessel, it's a time to quietly converse with plants as you arrange flowers as you wish.

Time: 14:00 - 16:00

Participation Fee: 5,000 yen (tax and materials included)

*You can take home the driftwood and fresh flowers used.

Tomonobu Iguchi (Painter, Ikebana Artist)

Graduated from Tama Art University. Based in Tateyama City, he engages in a wide range of creative activities including painting, murals, and ikebana. Representative of PERO TOTAL DESIGN STUDIO. Also serves as Vice Head of Koryu Kawa-kai Ikebana and Permanent Director/PR Manager of the Japan Ikebana Federation. Known for his vivid colors and vibrant style, he is actively involved in community art projects and mural production, connecting urban development with art.

Tasukake

An art gallery-like shop with the concept of "Art closer to you!", exhibiting and selling humorous and heartwarming "fufufu" works. It also hosts unconventional events such as music lives, antique markets, and fresh shake festivals. Goldfish and medaka swim in the store, and there is a king-like chair in the lawn garden, where you can also enjoy delicious sweets and unique coffee.

One-of-a-kind works and original goods created by talented artists using various materials such as old tools and Japanese paper, which are unique to Tasukake, can only be found here. It is a playful space.
